Open to the public Thursday – Sunday. All meals are inclusive for guests lodging at Windy Hill Farm and Preserve.

Gourmet Dinners

Dinner at Wilder offers guests an elevated dining experience with sustainable, seasonal ingredients that are imaginatively prepared. Our four-course menu draws inspiration from our garden and various cultures to celebrate the Appalachian tradition. Indulge in our carefully curated selection of wine pairings, cocktails, or locally crafted beers.

Dinner service is by reservation Thursday – Saturday from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. A limited number of outside dining reservations are offered nightly for $85/person. All meals inclusive for lodging guests.

Indulge in our wildly creative seven-course Chef’s Tasting menu. Elevate your culinary experience with our optional wine pairings, expertly selected to complement each course perfectly. Served exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays.

Additional $40/person. Optional wine pairings $55/person.

Sunday Brunch

Sunday Brunch is a cherished weekend tradition. Come together with loved ones for a farm-to-table experience that showcases classic Southern dishes and fresh garden plates. Enjoy your meal with a refreshing mimosa, bloody mary, cup of coffee, or tea.

Sunday Brunch service is by reservation from 10:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. A limited number of outside dining reservations are offered. $35/person.

Wilder at Windy Hill

Perched quietly along the Clinch River in the Virginia mountains once sat the Wilder Coal Camp, the birthplace and home of our farm founder “Big George.” Drawing its name and inspiration from this camp, our on-property restaurant pays homage to those who came before us: a vibrant people from a variety of cultures. Their ingenuity drives us to adopt a seasonal approach to dining and creatively utilize every part of an ingredient. We are proud to maintain a responsible, sustainable dining program.

Dress Code: We encourage all guests to come as they are comfortable.

Parking: Please follow the signage to park in front of the Watchhouse. A guest services agent will guide you to Wilder.

Pricing: All meals and non-alcoholic beverages at Wilder are inclusive for guests lodging at Windy Hill Farm and Preserve. For off-property guests, prices are as followed: Four-Course Dinner $85/person, Sunday Brunch $35/person. Alcohol is charged on consumption.
